Waste water monitoring with UV-Vis Spectrophotometer
Wastewater treatment is a process of removing and converting contaminant into an effluent that can be returned to water cycle with minimum impact on the environment or directly reused. To ensure an effective of wastewater treatment, we are using the spectrophotometer instrument for testing the contaminant/element’s analysis.
The Seminar and workshop with title “Boost Your Wastewater Monitoring Analysis using Analytik Jena Spectrophotometer UV-VIS” joined with Balai Lingkungan Hidup Manado. They have been used our spectrophotometer for analysis their daily routine testing. This seminar located at Seminar Room in Laboratorium Building of The Balai Lingkungan Hidup Manado, this event attended by participant from Government Agencies, Private Company and Universities. During the seminar, participant were exposed to the knowledge of workflow of wastewater treatment and monitoring the contaminant testing using Spectrophotometer technologies. And also this seminar got very good responses from participant and also for them to share experiences.
We did the demonstration of our UV-Vis spectrophotometer with the user from Balai Lingkungan Hidup Manado as operator. We tried analysis for determination iron and phosphate. They made calibration and done the analysis, thanks to Analytik Jena for fast and accurate reading. This instrument work with software that can available for ready-to-use test kit and standard reagent.
